Description
    The DAO™ (Double Action Outdoorsman) can be worn strong side or crossdraw at the user’s discretion. The holster employs a retention strap for simplicity and security in the brush. The retention strap has a large polymer tab to aid in snapping and unsnapping with a gloved hand. Tension screw adjustments allow for a custom fit to your revolver.
    Available in tan, black (select fits) and havana brown (select fits). Constructed of premium steerhide, the DAO fits belts up to 1 3/4".

Big Holster, great fit and finish
I wear it for crossdraw since the pistol is so long. Holster fit is perfect. I always enjoy the fit of every Galco holster. My EDC is 1911U desert eagle and had purchased a Galco holster for it a few years ago.

DAO STRONGSIDE/CROSSDRAW BELT HOLSTER
I have two of these holsters. Both are made extremely well and fit my firearms perfectly without any break-in necessary. I love that the holsters can be worn strong-side or cross-draw if one way works better for you than the other, depending upon your needs. With normal wear and care these holsters should last long enough to hand them down to my children when I am no longer able to get out shooting anymore. I also have two holster belts from Galco that will outlast me. The first one I purchased many years ago (SB5 1 3/4"), and unfortunately, although it is beautifully broken-in, my waist size has grown as I age and no longer fits me. I will hand that one down to my children or to a friend. The second one is an SB2 1 1/2". Great quality and function for both.
