NOTE: does not fit rifles/shotguns with pistol grips
Description
Designed to carry an unscoped rifle or shotgun, the Field Grade Zippered Rifle/Shotgun Case is constructed of khaki cotton duck, lined with acrylic fleece and trimmed with rich dark havana leather. All hardware is solid brass (except the zipper, which is nylon to avoid scratching wood stocks). The adjustable carry handle/shoulder strap is constructed of leather and can double as a spare sling.

Water resistant and very functional in the field, it also has an exterior pocket for ammunition, eye and ear protection or other essential gear.

I liked the 1st one so much, I purchased 3!
I’d been looking, with much difficulty, for a high quality non-scoped 40”ish soft case for the duration of the restoration of a JM Stamped Marlin 1894 I have. It boiled down to Galco and Feather River. I went with the Galco since the canvas is not waxed, which is a feature I don’t need and do not want for my use. I was so impressed with the quality of the case, that I bought two more for my Ruger Marlin 1894 and Ruger Marlin 1895. Fairly soon, I’ll be ordering a scoped version for my new Christianson Arms .300 Win Mag.

These cases are made in America! And they’re of top quality materials. The construction is top notch. They’re worth the steep price. They’ll last as long as the rifles…

Review for Field Grade Zippered Rifle Case
I bought this for my Winchester Model 94. I had been having trouble finding one that short. I checked Galco's website and found exactly what I had been looking for. It was more than I was expecting to pay. But you get what you pay for. If it comes from Galco, it is top notch! Well made and looks like it will last a lifetime. I'm definitely going to put it to good use!!

Zippered Shotgun Case
Purchased one for my wifes new Browning 725 sporting from a local gun shop and was so impressed with the quality had to order
myself one for my new 28 gauge! Not to mention made in the USA! I will personally pay a bit more for made in the USA! Going to order the
sporting clays bag next.
